Storing Cakes in the Freezer (-16°C or below)
- Frozen cakes can be stored for 6-12 months from the production date. Check the expiration date on the bottom sticker (this does not apply to cakes stored in a chilled display case).
- Ensure the cake is kept in a tightly sealed box to prevent moisture loss.
- To thaw, transfer the frozen cake to a chilled display case for at least 4 hours before serving. Do not use a microwave to defrost.
Storing Cakes in a Chilled Display Case (2-5°C)
- Cakes remain in their best condition for 3-5 days after being taken out of the freezer.
- Use a cake cover to prevent drying.
- Do not refreeze thawed cakes.
Serving Cakes at Room Temperature
- Cakes stay fresh for about 1-2 hours at room temperature.
- If the cake has warmed up, chilling it again before serving will enhance the taste.
- When delivering cakes, pack them with ice gel packs to maintain their freshness.
Did you know?
The rubber or silicone seal around the chilled display case is a common area for mold buildup. To maintain hygiene, avoid storing food for extended periods and clean the display case at least once a week.
